🚨 Something leaked this week… and for once, we’re thrilled about it.
We’ve just launched our brand-new Mooncup Period Pants and we kicked things off with a giant billboard (and an even bigger bum) in the middle of Manchester.
Shot in-house, starring a member of the Mooncup team, and featuring a cheeky photocopied backside, the launch went live on Europe’s second-largest digital screen. Subtle? Not our style.
We’ve always done things a bit differently at Mooncup - and this week was no exception.
So, why did we make period pants?
Simple: because the ones out there weren’t good enough.
They leaked. They chafed. They didn’t fit real people or real life. So we made our own - designed with comfort, absorbency and safety at the centre. No gimmicks. No greenwashing. Just period care that actually works.
The difference is in the details.
Here’s what makes Mooncup Period Pants stand out:
-
Absorbs up to 10 tampons’ worth of flow
Heavy days, night shifts, surprise gushes - you're sorted. -
No PFAS. No silver. No compromise.
Just safe, breathable, non-irritating materials that do their job. -
Washes up to 100 times. Saves around 400 disposables.
Good for your wallet. Better for the planet. -
Inclusive sizing (and always expanding).
Because bodies aren’t one-size-fits-some. And our pants shouldn’t be either. -
Low rise or high waist.
Your period, your preference.
We did it with the Mooncup. Now we’ve done it with the pants. No frills, no fuss, just products that actually work.
Not just a launch — a moment to give back.
While we were in Manchester, we also partnered with The Pankhurst Trust (inc. Manchester Women’s Aid), donating our brand-new pants and Mooncups - to help support women and families affected by domestic abuse.
Because period care should never be a luxury.
And dignity shouldn’t depend on your postcode.
