Period education packs for teachers

Together with experts in menstrual and sexual health, we have developed a frank and engaging Period Education resource for primary and secondary school teachers in the UK.

Each key stage resource includes a set of six sessions including classroom presentations, teaching guidance, activities and lesson plans.

Three key stage (KS2, KS3 and KS4) related resources built around a spiral curriculum.

Classroom presentations and activities are presented in a way that resonates with young people, including a variety of content from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and podcasts.

Pupils deserve inclusive and stigma-busting period education.

Education about periods became a compulsory part of the school curriculum in 2020. This is a step in the right direction but it’s only the start.

We have made this resource as comprehensive, practical and easy to use as possible. All the lesson plans are designed to flex to support learners’ diverse needs including gender and cultural inclusivity, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and neurodiversity.
