Yep! We’re one big happy family. In 2023, &SISTERS acquired Mooncup.

When Mooncup began back in 2002 it was all about word-of-mouth: we told our friends, they told their friends, and so the menstrual cup message began to spread.

We’re still not a big company, we do very little advertising, and we are still very grateful to our loyal Mooncup users who try to share the Mooncup love whenever they can.

So, if you feel like telling a friend or two about Mooncup menstrual cup, we’ve tried to make things easy for you. We have leaflets for you, stickers, quick facts, and profiles on most social media channels. If you'd like to know more, please contact us.

We’re a small, ethical business manufacturing a product that’s a one-off purchase, so advertising (certainly on the saturating scale of most disposable sanitary product campaigns) tends to be prohibitively expensive for us. Getting the word out often has to be a pretty creative undertaking for us.

Still, the Mooncup enjoys strong international sales through stockists and our website, and is available nationally in Boots, Asda and Holland & Barrett stores plus good independent health food stores, as well as our own website.

No. Unfortunately, we’re unable to amend or cancel orders once they’ve been placed.

Period care is free from VAT in the UK. Deliveries outside of the UK are subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches the destination country. Customers must cover any additional duties, taxes or charges for customs clearance; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

We do! We offer various services and payment providers to pay for your order depending on whether you are making a one-off purchase, or setting up a subscription. We aim to offer flexibility in our payment options so if you ever need to change or update your payment method, this can be done in your account.

Yep, whether shopping as a one-off or setting up a repeat order, you can use your debit or credit card. If you do decide to set up a repeat order, these are the details of the card that will be charged each cycle. 

To process card payments, we use Shopify's payment gateway. This means you can have complete confidence in payment security and a seamless experience.

Yep, if you are a PayPal user, you can use your PayPal account to make one-off purchases. We do not currently accept PayPal for subscription orders.

If you are an ApplePay or GooglePay user, you can use these for one-off purchases. We do not currently accept ApplePay or GooglePay for subscription orders.

We aim to send out all orders before 5pm on the next business day via Royal Mail 48 hour service. Longer dispatch times may occur over the weekend and holidays. If you think your package may have gone astray, please get in touch at customercare@wearemooncup.com, and we’ll help sort the problem ASAP.

Yes, you can have any item in our shop sent to you in Europe or further afield. Your delivery fee will be calculated at checkout upon entering your shipping details. Please note, further customs charges may apply.

If you have selected the "Express Delivery" option at checkout, your order will be dispatched using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For service.  It will aim to be delivered within 24 hours of the order being processed and require a signature upon delivery. 

If you have selected the "Standard Delivery" option at checkout, your order will be dispatched using Royal Mail 2nd Class. This means it will be dispatched within two to three working days of receipt and will not need to be signed for.

We do not offer returns on our organic cotton range, reusable period pants, remüvie stain remover or limited editions. However if you think you’ve selected the wrong size Mooncup, we offer a Money Back Guarantee. Simply contact us via email at customercare@wearemooncup.com explaining the issue and we will be happy to help. 

If you didn’t purchase your Mooncup from us directly, please get in touch with the retailer and we can work with them to get this resolved for you.

Further customs charges may apply if you are returning from further afield, these are not Mooncup’s responsibility.

Our Mooncup Satisfaction Guarantee is offered after 90 days of use. The satisfaction guarantee cannot be claimed before the 90 days have passed since your order or purchase date. You can claim your money back or alternative size for up to six months post-purchase. The satisfaction guarantee can only be claimed once per customer.

The satisfaction guarantee only applies to Mooncup Beginner and Mooncup Original menstrual cups bought online or in stores, excluding Amazon and Asos.com, who handle their own return and refund processes.

In order to claim your Mooncup Satisfaction Guarantee, please get in touch with our team. We just need proof of purchase, like an order confirmation email (this must include a date and order number from an authorised retailer), a receipt or if you purchased directly from us, your order number will be fine.

Alternatively, if you think you might not have the right size for you, our support team can ask you some questions to explore whether sending you the alternative size might be suitable instead. Please note, we can only offer a Mooncup size swap to customers based in the UK.

Due to the intimate nature of the product, we can’t offer returns and we ask that you get in touch with our team if you have any issues or would like to claim your Satisfaction Guarantee.

Please note, the satisfaction guarantee can only be claimed with the Mooncup® Original and Mooncup® Beginner.
